Hi, my name is Cora!

I fell in love with photography in college.  Having always been a visual person, there was something about holding a camera that didn't feel like work.  It felt like breathing.  Ever since, no matter what life throws at me, photography is always there.

It's as though I can finally tell the world about the beauty I see all around.  One of my favorite things is photographing people.  It feels like I get to show my subject how I see them and not just through the lens.  Capturing the complexities and joy a person makes me feel is something that still takes my breath away and gets me excited for each new opportunity.

I worked under Bill Truslow and am lucky enough to still call him a mentor.  I have also worked on film sets and in my local community.  Even though this isn't my day job, if inspiration strikes, you can believe I'm going after it!
